What to wear?
Fantasy or Renaissance-inspired attire is encouraged, though modern, formal wedding wear is also warmly welcomed.
We want this event to be your excuse to break out your Renaissance Faire outfit. Wizard hats, staves, cowls, armor, flower crowns, etc are all looked forward to. Everything from peasant to fairy princess is fine. If you have a sword - please bring it! (Please check TSA guidelines if you are flying)
If you want to dress on theme but are unsure of what to wear, please see some examples at the bottom of this page.
Some guests will be in renaissance attire for the entire event, some will wear formals, some may change between the ceremony and reception. Do what feels best to you!
What not to wear
This wedding is Fantasy themed, but it is still a wedding. Please do not wear a Halloween costume. We are not having a Halloween-themed wedding (it just happens to be close to Halloween). Think Lord of the Rings, not Count Chocula :)
If you choose to wear a dress, we kindly ask that you avoid white or near-white shades, in keeping with traditional wedding etiquette. Any other colors, including black, are OK!

Wedding Colors
The wedding colors are jewel tones of red, green, and purple. Think burgundy, forest green, and dark amethyst. We do not expect our guests to wear our wedding colors, but if you wish to coordinate, please go right ahead!
Will there be a way to give a monetary gift?
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. For those who wish to offer a contribution, we will have a card box available at the venue. Additionally, links to Venmo and PayPal are provided below for your convenience.
