Wedding Party

We want this event to be your excuse to break out your Renaissance Faire outfit. Wizard hats, staves, cowls, armor, flower crowns, etc are all looked forward to. Everything from peasant to fairy princess is fine. If you have a sword - please bring it! (Please check TSA guidelines if you are flying)If you want to dress on theme but are unsure of what to wear, please see some examples at the bottom of this page.

Some guests will be in renaissance attire for the entire event, some will wear formals, some may change between the ceremony and reception. Do what feels best to you!

If you choose to wear a dress, we kindly ask that you avoid white or near-white shades, in keeping with traditional wedding etiquette. Any other colors, including black, are OK!

Our wedding and reception will be held at the Dairy Barn Arts Center:8000 Dairy LaneAthens, OH 45701 Our wedding will take place very close to Halloween, which is a large event in Athens. If you need a room, it is recommended to try and find one early.Below is a list of most hotels and motels in Athens, OH. There may be more in nearby towns: Albany and Nelsonville. These are sorted mostly from closest to the venue to furthest. Athens is a small town, so even the furthest is a short drive.
